NetWorks is the brainchild, the epiphany, arising out of several frustrated years of trying to ‘network’ through the average ubiquitous small business networking organization, the local (and regional) chambers, and the women only networking organizations. After a couple of years and several thousand dollars in membership dues, there was the stark realization that no one was actually ‘networking.’
They failed to listen to each other, to ask questions and learn about the other women there. They failed to treat others the way they wanted to be treated. They missed huge opportunities to connect, to grow, and to create bonds.
